Tara Belle is a character from Beverly Hills Teens. She possesses a pronounced Deep South accent and sports a somewhat more demure look, showcasing pearls and ruffles. Polite and ladylike to a fault, Tara’s demeanor sometimes is mistaken for naivete. Voiced by Karen Bernstein.

Tara has tan skin, purple eyes, thin eyebrows, and long brown hair. She is mostly seen with red lipstick, white dangling earrings, and a pink ribbon headband. She often wears ruffled clothing and two pearl necklaces. She appears to be about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
Biography[]
Tara is polite and ladylike to a fault, with her demeanor sometimes mistaken for naivete. But beneath this demure exterior she can be a little tough. In Poll Climbers she verbally rips into Pierce over his egoistic run for student body president at Beverly Hills High.
Despite having most of the gang as her friends, Tara doesn’t seem to be into dating, although in Double Your Trouble Gig leads her along. Other episodes establish that Radley is somewhat interested in her and one of the last shots of Miracle at the Teen Club depicts them with their arms around each other.
A line in Who Wears the Pants? establishes that Tara has had her 17th birthday the month prior to the events of that episode. Given the time passage of the rest of the series, Tara must be getting close to her 18th birthday by the end of the series.

- It’s unclear from where in the South Tara’s from. She references folks on the bayou, suggesting Louisiana, but her accent seems to hint at Georgian or Carolinian origins for her.
- Originally, she was to be named Ashley.
- Her name is pronounced TAR-uh (rhymes with car) instead of the usual TARE-uh (rhymes with care),but the accent is still on the first syllable.
